Welcome!

There is a quote by Albert Einstein which says: “No problem can be solved from the same consciousness that created it.” This perfectly describes how I feel most of the world deals with weight and body image issues.

Amidst the endless chatter of diets, exercise plans and detox methods, I feel like the interesting questions are never asked and no discussion ever really gets to the core of the issue; why do we overeat? How can we end the frustration of a negative body image? What motivates us to change our eating habits for good? Why is weight management so hard for many of us?

These are only a few of the many points around weight and body image struggles that I want to explore. And that is what this site is about. It’s about asking the right questions to get to the essence of who we are and why we do what we do…and how we can change what hurts us and live as our true selves.

No one has all the answers and just as individual as we are, so are our eating habits and our emotions around food. I talk to women who, like me, have struggled or are struggling with weight and food. These discussions get to the core of why we suffer and define the tools we can use to end the helplessness. It is my goal to inspire and help shed light on what weight issues are really about. It’s a group effort – a place to hear and be heard, to be curious and learn from one another.

I hope that together we can begin to accept our bodies regardless of what we see in the media, and become aware of what it really means to achieve peace with ourselves and food.

Love, Diana
